A detox cleanse can be an important part of maintaining health and vitality. Starting a three day detox on a Friday is sensible, because the worst effects are felt on the second and third days. As your detox finishes, try to maintain a healthier diet with raw vegetables and fruit to the fore. This will prevent the excessive build up of toxins, and mean that any future detox should be progressively less difficult to manage.

Start your program by doing some research into the basic concepts of detoxing the body, and start slowly. If you are new to detox, you can even start by having a couple of one day detox sessions before you upgrade to the three day program. There is no need to rush, or become fanatical with your detox cleanse.
